Amber Barnes is a visionary Chief Executive Officer, entrepreneur, and mentor whose leadership is anchored in purpose, innovation, and social impact. With a degree in Visual Communications from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Arizona State University, she blends 22+ years of creative expertise with strategic business acumen to build and scale mission-driven organizations.
As CEO of HealHer Network, Amber leads with conviction and clarity, driving initiatives that empower women and young girls across emotional, financial, mental, physical, professional, and spiritual dimensions. She has cultivated a reputation for amplifying marginalized voices, forging transformative partnerships, and creating inclusive ecosystems where women can thrive and lead with confidence.
Her career reflects a lifelong dedication to philanthropy, mentorship, and community advancement. Amber’s leadership extends beyond organizational success she is committed to systemic change, equity, and generational empowerment. Chief Operations Officer
Ixia Nandina
Ixia Nandina is a nonprofit leader with a degree in Visual Communication and a minor in Business, bringing both creativity and strategic insight to her work. She has extensive experience in planning nonprofit events, coordinating fundraising efforts, and leading community initiatives, with hands-on volunteer work that provides her with both strategic and operational perspective. Ixia has developed expertise in managing event calendars, organizing high-profile fundraising dinners, and securing sponsorships that advance organizational goals.
With a leadership style centered on efficiency, collaboration, and mission alignment, she excels at streamlining operations while fostering strong team environments. Passionate about service, Ixia is committed to leveraging her skills as a Chief Operating Officer to maximize impact, optimize resources, and deliver sustainable growth helping Healher Network expand reach and strengthen community impact.
Chief Financial Officer
Dr. Chabela Mcfashion
Dr. Chabela McFashion is a seasoned financial expert with more than 22 years of experience in accounting, specializing in fraud prevention, sustainable business practices, and forensic accounting. She is the Founder and Chief Financial Officer of The B Venture, LLC, a government-contracted firm providing financial and cybersecurity services. Holding a Doctorate in Business Administration, Dr. McFashion has partnered with over 20 Fortune 500 companies and authored LXXVII Steps to Transformative Leadership (2024), drawing from her research on leadership and entrepreneurship.
Beyond her corporate and academic achievements, Dr. McFashion is deeply committed to financial education and community empowerment. She developed a “Money & Business” curriculum for youth in Africa and actively mentors young leaders through the Youth Business Alliance.
As Treasurer of HealHer Network, Dr. McFashion applies her expertise in ethical financial stewardship to ensure responsible growth and sustainable impact for women and youth affected by domestic violence and systemic inequities. She also serves as an engaged member of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., reflecting her commitment to leadership, service, and community advancement.

Annie Apple
Annie Apple is the founder of HealHer Network. A survivor of domestic violence, she established the organization in 2019 as a response to her own lived experiences of trauma, resilience, and rediscovering joy.
A seasoned journalist and storyteller, Annie has more than 20 years of media experience with outlets including NBC, CNN, ESPN, and Sports Illustrated. In 2016, she joined ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown as a contributor and was recognized by The Wall Street Journal as “The MVP of NFL Moms.” Her career also includes roles as a writer/producer for NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw and CNN’s American Morning, in addition to consulting in public relations and digital content production.
Today, Annie resides in West Africa, where she is expanding HealHer Network’s reach to serve women and children internationally building programs that provide mentorship, resources, and community support to help them rise beyond their wounds.
Through HealHer Network, Annie has created a powerful movement that serves women impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, gun violence, grief, and financial crises equipping them with the tools to heal, lead, and thrive.

Bridget Romeo
Bridget Romeo is a dynamic businesswoman, author, entertainer, and motivational speaker who brings positivity and encouragement into every space she enters. In 2018, she published Did You Think About That, a motivational book designed to inspire individuals at crossroads in their lives.
Born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, Bridget has dedicated her life to mentoring young women and girls, empowering them to discover their strength and purpose. Now based in New Jersey, she balances her career and creativity with family life, surrounded by her two adult children, three grandchildren, and endless possibilities.
